Growing up in Queensland, as a second generation Hungarian immigrant, Krystal has always felt connected and impassioned by the diverse culture in Australia and the incredible drinking trends that stem for these cultures.
Celebrating a career of over 15 years in hospitality, Krystal has worked all over the world running global cocktail competitions and bar take overs. She has worked in renowned cocktail bars, wine bars and large hotels and herself has competed in a number of national and global cocktail competitions.
Having previously worked with Diageo Australia & Sweet&Chilli Australia for 9 years, she now leads the Campari Academy Australia team as the National Bartender Engagement & Trade Advocacy Manager.
Some of her passion points are collaborating with local chefs to connect incredible food experiences with iconic drinking occasions, hosting television cocktail experiences and digital content that engages the consumers at home with incredible bartenders/bar experiences and finding authentic collaborations in culture that resonate with brands.
Some of her accolades include being awarded the global ambassador Diageo – 2019, awarded the best restaurant program globally and has been a finalists for the Australian Bartender Magazine, Brand Ambassador of the year for the past 5 years.
Her favourite cocktail is a wet martini with a twist, but for a mid- week occasion you’ll find her enjoying a Campari and soda.
