Born in 1979, he embarked on a spirited journey into the bar industry at the tender age of 22. In 2012, his dream materialized as he unveiled his very own bar, setting the stage for a saga of mixology and ambiance.
The plot thickened in 2019, when he ventured anew, opening Bar MADURO, a haven for rum aficionados in the heart of Fukuoka.
Today, Bar MADURO stands as a treasure trove of rum, boasting an eclectic collection that spans from venerable 1940s vintages to contemporary masterpieces. Patrons are invited to immerse themselves in a rum odyssey, with over 500 types waiting to tantalise their taste buds. Beyond the bar, his reserves hold a labyrinth of rum, each bottle with its own story, awaiting discovery.
